Welcome to my blog!
I wish I could take credit for the witty title, but I cannot. I couldn’t think of a clever name, so I Googled “clever breast cancer slogans” and voila! “Boobs, Sweat, and Tears” was on a list.
And a blog was born…
I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma on August 28, 2017. Writing has always been therapeutic for me, so starting a blog to document my journey was an obvious step in the process.
Here I will laugh, cry, and pretty much be my ridiculous self.
A little about me:
I’m Jennifer, married to Brad. I live just north of Charleston, South Carolina, but I grew up on Long Island, in New York. We don’t have any kids, but do have a fur-baby, Barkley. I work as Registered Behavioral Technician, doing ABA therapy for kids with developmental disabilities, mainly Autism, and I write. I’m also a graduate student. My hobbies include taking pictures, traveling, and reading.
Thanks for stopping by!
And just to note…everything here should probably be taken with a grain of salt. I’m pretty silly in general, and I’m not a cancer pro (and will never claim to be). I’m just a patient (who has no patience 90% of the time) and I’m sharing my thoughts, opinions, and experiences. That’s all, totally unofficial!
